Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard and his wife Hayley are expecting a baby in 2017. The couple just revealed the news — it's something they’ve been looking forward to for awhile.

In fact, it was when they learned Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren were pregnant last year that they decided the time was right for them, too. Hubbard and Hayley tell People they found out they were expecting shortly after a trip to California. She couldn't sleep and woke up strongly believing she was pregnant.

"So I took a test the next morning and I couldn’t even contain myself, I was so excited," she says. "I honestly didn’t have time to think of how to surprise Tyler, so I just jumped back into bed and showed him the pregnancy stick."

Tyler and Hayley are due in December, giving FGL time to finish the 2017 Smooth Tour before they plan. Hayley says she hopes her husband is going to be the disciplinarian, adding that, "He says he will be, but I’m really going to hold him to that."

"He’s going to be the best. He’s just the most loving, helpful guy. I’m so lucky to have him as my husband," she adds.

Morning sickness has been a real issue during the first trimester of her pregnancy. She's battling it while taking advice from friends and family. As for parenting advice, Hubbard says the best he's gotten is to get a night nanny to help with sleep. He plans to do just that.

2017 has seen a tremendous boom of country music babies — Brantley Gilbert, Jason Aldean and Justin Moore are three more with expecting wives.
