Veterans Day only comes once a year, but when Nov. 11 rolls around, Americans across the country unite as one to pay their respects and remember the men and women of the United States military who dedicate their lives to protecting our land. On Veterans Day 2011, many of country music's hottest stars are taking to Twitter to publicly honor those who serve our country -- past, present and future.

Notorious patriot Toby Keith shared his two cents as simply as possible, hoping to blanket all service people, while Dierks Bentley took the approach of thanking his father for his hard work. LeAnn Rimes spoke on behalf of military families, while Jaron Lowenstein (of Jaron and the Long Road to Love) tweeted from the heart and Whitney Duncan recounted her own trip to Iraq. Sugarland -- who are the singing voices behind Applebee's new Thank You Movement -- included a video with their tweet to make their point especially poignant. See how country music artists are honoring the good people of the United States armed services this Veterans Day 2011.
