Dustin Lynch’s ‘Small Town Boy’ Is Here, Can It Make Our Video Countdown?
Dustin Lynch goes from country star to heartthrob leading man in his new video for “Small Town Boy,” which is up for votes in this week’s Video Countdown.
The singer portrays genuine screen presence in the new clip, for which he doffs his signature cowboy hat for several scenes, looking as if he just stepped off the cover of a romance novel with his scruff. Will his fans turn out to vote him into the Top 10?
There’s really just one major change to the Top 10 this week. Home Free remain at No. 1 with “My Old Man,” once again by a whopping margin, taking nearly 58 percent of the total vote. Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina are back No. 2 with their video for “What Ifs,” and Blake Shelton hangs in at No. 3. Walker McGuire are also back at No. 4, followed by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill‘s brand-new clip for “Speak to a Girl,” which debuts on the Countdown at No. 5 in its first week.
Brothers Osborne check in at No. 6 with their “It Ain’t My Fault” video, followed by Miranda Lambert, who falls two slots to No. 7. Hunter Hayes and William Michael Morgan are next, with Reba McEntire rounding out the Top 10 with her video for “Back to God.”
Mo Pitney falls out of the Top 10 this week, but he’s well within range to get back in with enough fan support. Lanco‘s new video for “Greatest Love Story” is also up for votes this week, but it’s all up to you to see where it lands. The Taste of Country Top 10 Video Countdown is entirely fan-voted, so if you want to see your favorite clips make it next week, you’ll need to vote for it!
Note: Fans can vote for one video, once every hour until the poll closes next Friday at 12PM ET. The weekly Top 10 will be revealed immediately after the poll closes. Videos are retired after six months, or when fans lose interest or when an artist releases a new video for a current single.
