Thanks to the handiwork of Keith Urban, Vince Gill and a group of country music stars, the Country Music Hall of Fame has a nice-sized donation check coming its way. This year's All For the Hall benefit concert raised close to $650,000 for the museum of country music memories.

The lineup for the April 16 concert read like a who's who list of country music stars. In addition to Urban and Gill, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Rosanne Cash, Jessi Colter, Billy Joe Shaver, Hank Williams Jr., Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, Brantley Gilbert, Montgomery Gentry, Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock performed during the event.

The all-star guests were selected and invited personally by Urban. But as in years past, Gill, who is President of the museum's Board of Officers and Trustees, joined the 'You Gonna Fly' hitmaker on stage.

The two hosts opened the evening with passionate guitar work by playing a few rock songs that have been influenced by country music (think: Rolling Stones, Marshall Tucker Band and Gregg Allman). Their selections set the tone for the nigh t-- after that, every guest performer came on stage and said a few words about how country music has influenced them and why they wanted to donate their time to the Country Music Hall of Fame.

After every guest performed a special number, most of the lineup returned to the stage to close the set with Hank Williams Jr.'s 1979 hit, 'Family Tradition.'

“This year’s All For the Hall show was the biggest and best ever,” said Museum Director Kyle Young before calling the lineup "inspiring and humbling (quote via MusicRow)."

As in years past, the combination of country music memories and decades of talent made for a special evening in Nashville. In four years the event has raised over $2 million.
