There aren't a whole lot of bright colors in this music video -- this home and car are two of the most colorful images throughout its three-and-a-half minutes. The rest of the video has a more neutral color palette, and there's a reason for that The whole track is pretty downcast, but also extremely insightful and honest.

This music video didn't have glamorous production, and barely even showed the country singer-songwriter at all, but any sort of glitzy imagery would take away from the song, which is powerful enough to stand alone. When this song debuted, country fans took note, as this singer-songwriter shows wisdom and talent well beyond her years.
