The annual 'CMA Country Christmas' special is always one to look forward to, with host Jennifer Nettles and a bill packed with country's hottest stars. So, when does it come on?

The 2014 'CMA Country Christmas' will air on ABC on Dec. 1.

The show sets the mood for the holiday season, and a long list of country hitmakers are apparently feeling jolly this year. Hunter Hayes, Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, LeAnn Rimes and Little Big Town will all perform during the show, as will Sara Evans, Lucy Hale, Idina Menzel, Michael W. Smith and host Nettles.

'CMA Country Christmas' is pre-taped before a live studio audience -- Christmas comes early at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 7.

One theme that returns in 2014 is giving back. The annual event asks concertgoers to help make Christmas bright for those less fortunate by donating new, unwrapped toys at the taping. Generosity, a Nashville nonprofit organization, will have their volunteers on hand to accept the toys. Last year, the group received more 5,000 gifts for local children, and this year they hope to top that.

Tickets to the CMA Country Christmas special are now on sale and can be purchased here or by calling (800) 745-3000. If you're in Nashville, you can also pick them up at the Bridgestone Arena Box Office. Tickets range from $25 to $50, service fees aren't included in that price.

However, those at home can enjoy the blend of merry and bright Christmas songs -- country style -- for the price of a cable subscription or good antenna.
