Wynonna Judd's husband, Cactus Moser, suffered serious, but not life-threatening, injuries in a motorcycle accident on Saturday night (August 18). Now, it's becoming clear just how serious those injuries are. TMZ reports that Moser has had his left leg amputated at the Rapid City Regional Hospital as a result of the crash.

A rep for the singer says that the 55-year-old Moser -- who is also Judd's drummer -- "severed" his leg in the wreck along U.S. Highway 16 in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Doctors were forced to amputate the leg above the knee, in addition to performing surgery on the recently-married musicians hand.

"Judd and Moser appreciate all of the quick medical and police responders as well as the hospital staff and well-wishes from family, friends and fans," the unnamed rep tells TMZ.

Taste of Country has also reached out to a representative for Judd for further comment, but had not received a response at press time. Check back often for more details as things develop with this story. Judd has canceled all of her shows planned for this week.
