The 2015 CMA Awards transformed into a pop concert for four minutes with Zac Brown Band’s performance of their tune “Beautiful Drug” from their album Jekyll + Hyde. The thumping track infused with a pop-electronic sound brought the stage to life, alight with flashing rainbows of LEDs.

The band also brought their signature tight harmonies and high energy to the performance, with Brown aloft on a pedestal and the band surrounding him. The guys even threw in some synchronized bouncing to back up the guitar solo on the bridge, giving the show even more of the feeling fans may have just stepped into a house party.

The fun, upbeat delivery left fans smiling and reminded them of the band’s talent and ability to mesh several different styles together seamlessly for a unique sound.

Zac Brown Band are nominated for Vocal Group of the Year. They’re also headed to Country Jam next year in Grand Junction, Colo. June 16-19, 2016. Brown recently won two SESAC Nashville Music Awards for his tunes “Homegrown” and “Loving You Easy."
