Zac Brown Band's Coy Bowles has written a children's book titled 'Amy Giggles, Laugh Out Loud' that is now available for purchase on the band's website. Some of the proceeds from the book are targeted for CampSouthern Ground, a Georgia-based charity that helps kids overcome emotional challenges.

The idea for the book came to Bowles when he went to a dinner party and watched a girl constantly without her laughter, he tells ABC News. The reason, Bowles later discovered, is because other kids had poked fun at her loud laugh.

"Every time someone said something, she would huff and puff," says Bowles. "Finally, somebody said, 'For the love of God, will you please just laugh out loud.'

"By parents reading this book to their kids, you can get reassurance in yourself, because no matter how old you are, we're all different," he adds.

The band has been keeping busy with music during this holiday season, too. Just recently, the band played a 'Live at Red Rocks' special and performed a new song 'Sweet Annie.' At the show, the band also played some of their many hits, including 'Chicken Fried,' 'Knee Deep' and 'Colder Weather.' The band also just scored their ninth No. 1 hit with the song 'Keep Me In Mind.'
