The Zac Brown Band once again hold down the top of the country singles chart this week with their seventh career No. 1 hit, 'Colder Weather.' This is the second consecutive week the Georgia-based band has locked up the top of the chart with their third single from their 'You Get What You Give' album.

'Colder Weather' is considered one of the more special tunes for the Zac Brown Band, as it was penned by Brown, ZBB's guitarist Coy Bowles, ZBB key songwriter Wyatt Durrette and Levi Lowrey, a friend and artist signed to Brown's independent label, Southern Ground Records.

"What makes this song so cool is that it was a group effort," Durrette tells Taste of Country. "I essentially gave birth to the song because it was something I was experiencing at the time, but it's all of us as far as the music and lyrics and everything else goes. It's such a special song for all of us."

The Zac Brown Band are currently on the road with Kenny Chesney on his Goin' Coastal Tour. Click here for a list of dates where the tour is stopping, and check out our exclusive interview with Durrette about his songwriting career and his first meeting with Brown.
