Zane Williams' "Jayton and Jill" is the type of real-life story many say is missing from country radio. The action is played out in the Texan's new music video. The just-released clip is a sobering punch of reality that leaves the darkest days glimmering with sunshine.

The two title characters are young lovers, but they don't know it when the song begins. She's a rebel who fights off the advances of an older boy. He's a loner who ... actually, Jayton's secret is best kept until the very end of this video, made available to fans in this Taste of Country premiere.

"Two lost souls found a connection that's blessing both of them still / Oh that night when Jayton met Jill," the Texas troubadour sings.

"Jayton and Jill" is from Williams' fifth studio album, the just-released Texas Like That. When asked, fans named this song as their favorite on the new album. Each of the 10 songs on the project were written by this family man. This track shows off his darker yearnings, but the pain turns poignant towards the middle of the mellow acoustic rambler.

Last month Williams made his Grand Ole Opry debut. He'll tour throughout Texas and the southeast this spring and summer. Visit his official website for more information.
