Carrie Underwood vs. Little Big Town – Taste of Country Bowl 2013, Round 1

Sixteen artists made the 2013 Taste of Country Bowl playoffs, including a group that is deserving of a Comeback of the Year award for their 2012 effort. Little Big Town released what are arguably the song and album of the year, but can they ride that momentum past a favorite in Carrie Underwood to reach the ToC Bowl finals?

Underwood's Care Bears always turn out in big numbers to support a singer who released a platinum album in 2012 and embarked on one of the hottest tours of the year. She's certainly the favorite in this matchup, but that won't guarantee her a win. If Team LBT can galvanize and spread the vote message, the 'Tornado' hitmakers will move on to face either the Band Perry or Brad Paisley in Round 2.

A vote for either team is a vote for the artist and their respective fanbases. Much like the eight teams left competing for the Super Bowl trophy, it will take a strong effort from everyone involved to earn the Taste of Country Bowl 2013 win, which will be presented on Feb. 4.
