Country Babies Born in 2012: Dylan River Nichols

After years of trying, Joe Nichols and his wife Heather gave birth in April. Dylan River Nichols was born weighing 7 pounds, 5 ounces and measuring 21 inches long. She is the couple's first child, although Nichols does have a daughter from a previous relationship.

"This gift is not something we take for granted," the singer said. "We are going to try to be the best parents possible.” Nichols has taken to Twitter often since the birth to share pictures of his baby girl, including an adorable shot of her in cowgirl boots.
