Kenny Rogers and Wynonna Judd's timeless Christmas duet made an impact immediately upon being released in 1996. It helped that song No. 9 on the Top 50 Country Christmas Songs list hadn't been made a country hit by someone else like so many other country Christmas songs. Aside from a version by Kathy Mattea, country audiences were largely unaware of this beautiful message.
