Breakout artist Maren Morris gives fans a whole new type of religious experience with her "My Church" video. Though the singer may be new to the scene, her old-school style and confident swagger make it seem like she’s a veteran country star in a 25-year-old’s body.

"My Church" hits on all cylinders, bringing a healthy dose of soul and storytelling to the table. The video is no different, beginning with Morris leaving a church and gospel choir, getting into her vintage car and driving through the country with the windows down, listening to the radio. The song is a tribute to the spiritual experience of doing just that, as Morris sings, “feels like the Holy Ghost runnin’ through ya when I play the Highway FM … I find my soul revival singin’ every single verse.” She picks up a few hitchhikers along the way, trading scenes of the drive with scenes of Morris performing, singing into a vintage mic with pure passion.

Morris is slated to head out with Keith Urban on his Ripcord Tour with Brett Eldredge, and recently stopped by Sirius XM’s studios to promote it. While there she treated listeners to a stunning, though unfiltered, performance of Adele’s “Rollin’ in the Deep” with the guys. She also appeared at Miranda Lambert’s Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Unplugged show in Nashville on Jan. 20, performing songs in the round alongside several other big names in country like songwriting vets Shane McAnally and Nicolle Galyon as well as Ashley Monroe.

The young artist's most recent EP not only hit No. 25 on the Billboard Country Albums chart but also hit No. 1 on the Heatseekers chart, which recognizes artists on the rise. Morris was also named our No. 2 Hot Artist to Watch in 2016.
