Congratulations to Sonya Isaacs and her husband, Jimmy Yeary, who became first-time parents on Monday night. On July 26, the couple's son, little Ayden James Yeary, came into this world weighing 9 lbs., 5 oz.

"One of my greatest desires in life has been to be a mommy," Isaacs said earlier this year when she announced she was expecting. "I've loved being an aunt, and being so close to my nieces and nephews has given me a taste of what it's like to love and raise a child. We are so excited and can't even begin to express our thankfulness to the Lord for this great big little blessing!"

Besides her solo career as a singer, Isaacs is also part of the bluegrass/gospel group, the Isaacs, which consists of her mother, brother, sister and brother-in-law. Isaacs also has been scoring some major successes with her songwriting in the recent months, including Heidi Newfield's 'Stay Up Late' and Martina McBride's current single, 'I'm Gonna Love You Through It.'

Yeary has had his fair share of writing hits as well. Yeary co-wrote the 2009 No. 1 hit for Rascal Flatts 'Why Wait' along with Neil Thrasher and Tom Shapiro. 'Why Wait' is a song about taking the plunge and marrying the one you love, which was inspired by Yeary's blossoming relationship with Isaacs. The couple walked down the aisle together after knowing each other for only a few months. Yeary has also had cuts by the likes of Randy Travis, Joe Diffie, Craig Morgan and John Michael Montgomery, to name a few.
