Before chasing his country music dreams, James Otto served two years in the U.S. Navy. In 1998, he decided he could get a dirty job in his home state of Washington or one in Nashville, where he could begin a career as a musician. With encouragement from his father, he moved and took any job he could. That meant driving a bus for Opryland.

James Otto and his wife Amy will be celebrating their first Christmas with baby Ava this year, and it looks like they'll be making the rounds to visit all of their loved ones. Otto says that this his plans for the holiday weekend include "lots of traveling and family time. My wife, Ava and I will be going all over to spend time with our families!"
