Dierks Bentley is taking his love for hockey one step further this week, as he has been asked to perform during the 2011 National Hockey League Awards. The sold out event will be hosted by Jay Mohr and feature some of the best hockey players in the world as the show highlights the 2010 and 2011 hockey season.

The event isn't the first time that Bentley and the NHL have joined forces for a special occasion. The two recently collaborated during the Stanley Cup Finals, and leading up to the Awards to create an alternate music video of Bentley’s current hit 'Am I The Only One,' which features concert footage and video highlights of this year’s biggest hockey moments. Bentley's new hit single was also used during the NHL Conference Finals in national TV tune-in spots on NBC, VERSUS, CBC, RDS, NHL Network and in-arena during playoff games.

The 2011 National Hockey League Awards airs live on Wednesday, June 22 from them Pearl Concert Theater inside the famous Las Vegas Palms Hotel at 7PM ET on VERSUS and CBC.

Recently, Bentley’s latest single, 'Am I the Only One,' broke into the Top 10 on Billboard's country singles chart. The song is the first release from Bentley's forthcoming album.
