Taylor Swift Reveals What Career Path She’d Take if She Wasn’t Singing
Superstar Taylor Swift has found her calling as a super successful singer, but if she had to start over, she knows what work path she would take -- and it doesn't have anything to do with singing.
The 23-year-old singer, who is obsessed with detective shows, has actually thought about her life without music. “I'd be an interior designer or a detective -- but I don't think I'd be a very good detective," she shares (quote via Entertainment Wise). “I just watch all of those crime shows. Anything that has a slight premise of being a crime show. I'm on it."
Just as she immerses herself into songwriting when she has a new record coming out, Swift also plunges into the criminal world when she has a chance to relax. “I have so many box-sets -- I'm into 'Criminal Minds' at the moment, and 'Law and Order' and 'CSI,'" she spills. "I've never seen 'The Wire' but I'll get into that next.”
Although Swift may not feel like she'd be a successful sleuth, it seems that anytime she puts her mind to something, she definitely comes out on top. The sales of 'Red' are a result of her talent, drive and focus, and her 2013 Red Tour shows that the singer was born for the entertainment industry.
At least the 'Red' hitmaker can use her designing skills on the set of her tour -- and within her huge new East Coast home. As far as her detective abilities go, her fingerprints are all over her music!
