The Chicago local has stayed pretty quiet, not making individual statements on the matter of her own, but did let followers know she does see and welcome all the encouraging words people are sending her way. For the most part, she seems in good spirits posting stuff like this little tongue and cheek caption over the weekend when John's statement came out.
