Farmers find love and new beginnings in season finale of *Farmer Wants a Wife*
Season 4 of *Farmer Wants a Wife* wrapped up with all three farmers—Brett, Shawn, and Braden—finding love. Brett chose Quinn, Shawn picked Emily, and Braden selected Casey. Since the filming concluded in November, these couples have been navigating their relationships, and it seems feelings are flourishing.
Reflecting on their experiences, Braden and Casey emphasized their commitment to taking things slow while still deepening their connection. They are enjoying the journey, feeling stronger than they did at the show's conclusion. Meanwhile, Shawn and Emily have embraced life on Shawn's California ranch, eagerly settling into a routine that includes plans for acquiring more farm animals.
Brett and Quinn's relationship blossomed in interesting ways, particularly highlighting their shared friendships, especially with Hannah. The bond formed among the women provided a supportive backdrop as they faced the challenges of dating within a vibrant, competitive environment. The friendships forged during the season have endured well beyond the show.
During the recap of the season, it was noted that the couples have been dating for about seven months. As they look to the future, Braden mentioned that discussions about moving together have begun, but they remain focused on nurturing their relationship at a comfortable pace. Their immediate plans include spending time with friends from the show, reinforcing the community built around their shared experiences.
Emily has also made significant adjustments by moving to California with Shawn. Their life on the ranch includes new responsibilities and the thrill of farm life, such as dealing with chickens and looking forward to other animals like baby pigs and maybe even a horse. Emily expressed her enjoyment of these new tasks, gradually embracing the rigorous yet rewarding demands of farm living.
Both Braden and Shawn addressed the ups and downs of dating in a competitive environment. They highlighted the importance of honesty throughout the process. Watching the season back posed challenges, particularly when confronting situations where the person they are dating was romantically involved with others. Honest communication has helped them remain grounded through these complexities.
While engagement has not been explicitly discussed among all couples, Shawn and Emily indicated that their feelings have matured rapidly. Reflecting on a compatibility test taken on the show, they jokingly noted that their initial timeline of waiting two years for engagement has been transformed by the chemistry they've discovered. For Shawn and Emily, it feels genuine and undeniable; the relationship has flourished into a firm partnership.
The excitement surrounding the season 4 finale of *Farmer Wants a Wife* illustrates not just romantic connections but also the lasting friendships that have developed among contestants. As the couples continue to share their lives, the authenticity of their experiences remains a focal point, underscoring the special bonds formed during this unique journey.

There was a compatibility test that we did on the show and this actual same question was kind of asked like at what point do you feel like engagement is appropriate and I think both said two years plus or something like that. Throw that out the window and that [laughter] it might be coming sooner than that. Yeah. Season 4 of Farmer Wants a Wife has come to a close and all the farmers have found [music] love. I talked to all three couples ahead of the season finale, and I think by the end of this video, I'm going to have all your questions answered. Obviously, I've never dated a guy that's also dating other girls, but it was 6 months ago. We were in totally different spots and he made it so easy to watch it back because I there was nothing a surprise to me. He told me every conversation, every situation that happened. So, nothing was a shock. So, I think that made it a lot easier, too, just knowing. Let me quickly recap. On Tuesday, Brett picked Quinn, Shawn picked Emily, and Braden picked Casey. Hit the thumbs up button if you've been keeping up this season. When it came to the ladies on Brett's farm, I really enjoyed watching the friendship between Quinn and Hannah. What you saw was just the smallest bit of it. She is my best friend. I mean, we talk every single day. If we're not on FaceTime, we're sending voice memos to each other throughout the day constantly. Um, and her Brett and I FaceTime [music] all the time. Um, and we throw Sophia in the mix and like it's just she's just the easiest person to be friends with. Um, and we know each other just so well that like her family has become my family and you know I mean she's the best. I mean Brett's the best thing that's come from this, but I couldn't like they're both just I couldn't have asked for that. You can't expect that. Filming finished in November, so these couples have been dating for a minute now. So where does their relationship sit today? and what have they been up to? You had said that um I had written it down. If you'd move if Braden were 100% in love, big heavy-handed question here. Are we there yet? Are you like, "Okay, we're still taking things slow." We are getting there. Yes. I feel like we are still taking things slow. Um we are definitely our feelings are a lot stronger than what they were wrapping up this show. We've been dating now close to 7 months. Um, so feelings are just getting stronger and stronger, which is great. I think, yeah, we have had conversations about moving, but that would be further on down the line, and we're just going to take it slow and start dating in the real world now. So, it's been so fun. So, so far, we're all going to Sean's place the that weekend. um like all the couples um and even some of the girls that you know didn't make it like Sophia, Nichollet, there's you know there's a few girls from the show that you know got eliminated early on and they're coming too just cuz we're all tied with them too. But uh that's like the the one thing that we're doing immediately after. um you know cuz I'm I'm still here in Tennessee right now and I'm I'll be in Nashville all week and um and she's in Idaho. So I mean immediately after filming of the show um I took her to Santa Barbara and then home to Thanksgiving and then she had to go back to Florida. We spent several weeks apart in December and we talked on the phone every single day and then we decided that we never really wanted to spend 3 weeks apart again. So, I packed up my truck, drove across the country, moved in with her, and then ever since we've been together, but just back and forth in between California and Georgia. So, now we're here at the ranch. Yeah. Uh living here in California at the ranch and living farm life, but we haven't been apart like at any point this entire [laughter] thing. Wait, I love this. Okay. Wait, so Emily, does this mean that you've moved to California or this is like tempor or like is it permanent? So, first we moved back because I just moved into my place. Um, he helped me move into the place and so we were living in Georgia for a few months, but now we're back in California. So, I live in California for now while Sean's [music] focusing on business and all those things. I I work remote, so that's easy. Um, but yeah, we're we're in California for now for the foreseeable future. Yeah. Living on the farm. We're at the We're at the ranch. Yeah. I saved Sean and Nimbley for last because I think they had the biggest life change. She's now living with him in California and getting all of these farm animals. Got chickens yesterday. He's like easing me in to like my own little tasks that I like. [laughter] And so I I'm like at first it was a little rough. I drive the Polaris around. I've hit a few things. I'm not the best, but I'm I'm Yeah, I'm easing into things. I now have some chickens. We're looking at some other animals for me to kind of be in charge of. So, it's been really fun. Yeah. for for Emily, like I want her to be involved as much as she wants to. I'm not going to force her into anything she doesn't want to do, but so far she's loving everything. I think at heart she's truly like an animal lover. So, we're really trying to focus on that. I think next up, we're going to get some baby pigs. We just got some baby chicks. We're going to get her a horse. I'm going to get a couple buffalo. So, we're going to really be raising some farm animals. We're leaning in. We're leaning into this season. There was a decent amount of kissing in this season. In seasons past, farmers spilled the beans on secret spots they would meet up with their ladies. Was it the same this time? They always want they kind of pushed for a kiss at the end of dates and, you know, we did kiss on camera, but uh then they wanted us to walk back and I just said, "Just keep walking. Just keep walking, dude." So, we we may have walked a little far and they were kind of on mic being like, "All right, come back. Come back." And they could hear us, so they on camera. My big thing is I didn't want the cameras too close because so I was fine if we were far away. Um but they definitely wanted it on camera. Is that why there was a part in the the last episode the very the finale where you're like oh wait this barn or this shed or something you use this trailer. Yeah. Yes. That's exactly what it was. She she was like just stop by that trailer and kiss her. And I kept walking and she was like and then I was like oh wait it's this one. We got back from Maryland. Um, which was the mixer. Um, we, uh, well, Katie, who is what, what was she to y'all, Quinn? She's our wrangler. She's like the head. She's our right. She keeps us alive. Yeah, she's like the head the head wrangler for the girls, you know, top of top. Uh we we flew back together actually um because our flight got delayed. But um we got back at like two o'clock in the morning and I was like I've got to go see Quinn. Like I there was like just unfinished stuff that you know I needed to I needed to take care of. [music] Um so um the the nighttime lady that kind of just watched the house at night. It was like you know the night patrol. Um, we were able to like talk her in to like letting Quinn come outside for a minute. And so like that was the first time that we actually kissed was that night. Real talk, this situation isn't normal. I can personally say I have never tried to date the same guy that four of my best friends are also trying to date. That's got to be hard. Yeah, they just said like honesty is the best policy. And I mean that's kind we've been nothing but honest. And you know, there's times it's hard watching him back cuz you, you know, we've been dating 7 months and then you kind of got to watch. And we were in such a different headsp space then to where we are now to where then you're kind of watching it back and you're like, you know, we neither of us have ever had to watch, you know, the person you're dating date other people, you know, so that that can be really hard. But, you know, [music] she's been amazing uh through it all. Just like we conflict resolution is so great with us. I mean, we it's just been honestly a really smooth ride. I mean, it's been a crazy ride, but it's it's been a really smooth ride. Brett and Brandon didn't speak on if engagement was next. If anything, those couple's next steps were just to spend more time together. But for Shawn Nimley, they know there was a compatibility test that we did on the show and this actual same question was kind of asked like at what point do you feel like engagement is appropriate? And I think you both said 2 years plus or something like that out the window and that [laughter] it might be coming sooner than that. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Is was that just a pleasant surprise of once you got into it then you realize like wait actually this I feel just like when you know you know. Exactly. I was about to say that. I think we're both a firm believer in when you know, you know. And I think just right off the bat, like literally like the first week after filming of the show, when we had dinner every single night, we would be talking for eight hours. Like we would close down the restaurant. We'd be the last people in the restaurant. And that's just still how it is now. Like we are each other's best friends. Like we just truly enjoy each other's company. Like we can go out, hang out all day, laugh all day, and come back and still be each other's like love of our lives. So it's just like it's the best of everything. And I think when you just know, you know, and it's so undeniable. So I think yeah, when people like when people say that, you know, you know, I'm always like, [music] well, what does that mean? And I feel like for me the turning point was I always call my mom and I'm like, mom, when did you know you wanted to marry dad? Like how did you know? And like in my previous relationships, I would always be like, how do you know? How do you know? And I started Sean and it's not a question. There's no how do you know? I don't wonder. Like I just know, you know? Let me know what you thought of season 4 in the comments section below.
