Shawn and Emily embrace new life together on the ranch in California
Shawn and Emily from "Farmer Wants a Wife" have taken a significant step in their relationship by moving in together. Unlike other couples who prefer to focus on a longer timeline for engagement, Shawn and Emily have shifted their plans, suggesting that a proposal might be on the horizon sooner than anticipated.
Following the show's filming, Shawn whisked Emily away to Santa Barbara and later to Thanksgiving festivities. After spending some time apart, the couple realized they wanted to avoid long stretches of separation. This realization prompted Shawn to pack his belongings and make the cross-country move to California, where the couple is now living together on a ranch.
As they navigate their new life together, Emily confirmed that her move to California is for the long term. Working remotely makes the transition easier, and she has settled into her new surroundings while Shawn focuses on his business endeavors. For now, life on the ranch in California marks the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship, free from the challenges of long-distance living.

When it comes to Shawn and Emily from Farmer Wants a Wife, I think them out of all three couples had the biggest update for us. Y'all, they're moving in together. There was a compatibility test that we did on the show and this actual same question was kind of asked like at what point do you feel like engagement is appropriate and I think we both said 2 years plus or something like that. Throw that out the window [laughter] and that it might be coming sooner than that. So, I mean, immediately after filming of the show, um, I took her to Santa Barbara and then home to Thanksgiving and then she had to go back to Florida. We spent several weeks apart in December and we talked on the phone every single day. And then we decided that we never really wanted to spend 3 weeks apart again. So, I packed up my truck, drove across the country, moved in with her, and then ever since we've been together, but just back and forth in between California and Georgia. So, now we're here at the ranch. Yeah. uh living here in California at the ranch and living farm life, but we haven't been apart like at any point this entire [laughter] thing. Wait, I love this. Okay, wait. So, Emily, does this mean that you've moved to California or this is like temporary or like is it permanent? [music] So, first we moved back because I just moved into my place. Um he helped me move into the place and so we were living in Georgia for a few months, but now we're back in California. So, I live in California for now while Sean's focusing on business and all those things. I I work remote, so that's easy. Um, but yeah, we're we're in California for now for the foreseeable future. Yeah. Go on, click the link in the description to get the updates from Farmer Brett and Farmer Braden.
