Toss back those red solo cups, as Toby Keith has signed on to host the 2012 CMT Music Awards, which will air Wednesday, June 6 at 8PM ET on CMT and at CMT.com. The country superstar will be joined by actress Kristen Bell, who will co-host alongside him. We're beyond excited to see how well Keith and Bell play off one another.

This is not Keith's first time at this particular rodeo. He co-hosted alongside another blonde -- the buxom Pamela Anderson -- back in 2003. Still, he is psyched to reprise the role "It's an honor to get that call," he said, according to People.

Bell is also happy to head to Music City to co-host, since it means she may encounter her country celeb crush: Miranda Lambert. Lookout, Blake! The actress, 31, told People, "Country music makes me happy." Just like the rest of us, Kristen.

The CMT Music Awards show, now in its 11th year, will take place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

And producers of the show think Keith and Bell will be a perfect pairing to host. "Toby Keith and Kristen Bell are a terrific one-two knockout punch for the 2012 CMT Music Awards,” said John Hamlin, SVP of Music Events and Talent at CMT. “Toby has been involved with our show every year since its inception and Kristen is as entertaining and witty as any young actor working today. We’re thrilled to have them both as hosts for this year’s show.”

Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band are all on the docket to perform at the event. Fans are able to vote for their favorite acts online at CMT.com and via their mobile devices. Voting is open through June 4.
