Kenny Chesney and Thomas Rhett will join Jason Aldean as headliners for the seventh-annual Rock the Ocean's Tortuga Music Festival. The three-day event is scheduled to take place on the shore of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in Florida next April.

Chesney announced his spot at Tortuga to his legion of his No Shoes Nation on Wednesday (Oct. 17) alongside a video of him performing at a past event. The superstar has long been vocal about marine life conservation, something that Tortuga has supported since its inception back in 2013.

In fact, while the music featured at this festival is going to be insane like usual, it’s the underlying cause that is the driving force. The event helps raise funds and awareness of the many issues that the world's oceans are currently facing.

Other artists scheduled to take the stage at the festival include Kane Brown, Maren Morris, Morgan Evans and Carly Pearce. There will also be a slew of artists from outside the country music genre, including Flo Rida, Joan Jett & the Blackhawks and Elle King.

Another new piece for 2019 Tortuga Fest is the addition of a third stage. The 'Next From Nashville' stage will welcome a number of still-unannounced artists currently finding their way in the country genre. It’s a new aspect of the event that has seen much success with fans at festivals like Faster Horses in Michigan and Country LakeShake in Chicago.

Tortuga Music Festival takes place April 12, 13, 14 of 2019 at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in Florida.
