ACM Awards 2011 Date Announced

The Academy of Country Music has announced details about the 46th Annual ACM Awards today. The awards show, which honors country music's top talent, will be broadcast live on CBS from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 8PM ET on April 3, 2011.

Nominees haven't been announced for this year's ACMs, but we're hoping that the winners will be as thrilled as last year's big winners, like Carrie Underwood (pictured, with her Entertainer of the Year and Triple Crown Awards).

In addition to the ACM Awards, a 'Girls' Night Out: Superstar Women of Country' special will be taped at the same venue on April 4, 2011, and will be shown on CBS at a later date.

Tickets to both events go on sale on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011. All sales for the 'Girls Night Out' special will benefit ACM Lifting Lives, an organization that works to improve lives through music.
