2012 ACM Award for Entertainer of the Year – Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney returned to the road in 2011 with a run of sold out stadium dates. While Taylor Swift's show gets all the press, Chesney still has the biggest tour in country music, although he doesn't play as many shows as he used to. His 'Hemingway's Whiskey' album went platinum and accounted for five Top 5 hits, including the ACM nominated 'You and Tequila.'

He will win if: The three younger artists split fan votes, leaving no overwhelming favorite. Chesney will forever have the industry vote, but as much as it sounds sacrilegious to say this, he doesn't have the "heat" he used to have. His talent is taken for granted.
