When Susan M. Rich learned she had won a trip to Nashville to see Alan Jackson this summer, she got emotional -- very emotional. "I started crying, I couldn't believe it," she told Taste of Country upon getting the good news. "Alan was my mom's favorite singer, she passed away six years ago and she saw him in concert many times."

The Easton, Mo. native was chosen as the winner from thousands of fans who entered the contest. Rich will be looking for someone else to take with her to the 2012 CMA Music Festival in June. That's when she'll not only watch Jackson play the big stage at the LP Field, but she'll get a chance to meet the famed hitmaker before the show. The mini-vacation also includes three-nights hotel accommodations and air transportation to and from Nashville.

Rich's favorite song from tall, cool-headed cowboy is 'Tall Tall Trees.' "I have seen him live and I love his voice and his songs," she revealed. "I am looking forward to meeting him and my mom will be smiling down from heaven."

Congratulations Susan! Remember to bring sunscreen and drink plenty of water, because it's easy to get lost in all the fun along Broadway at the CMA Music Festival.

For those who aren't Susan, there are plenty of other Taste of Country contests to enter -- including a trip to see Carrie Underwood play the Bayou Country Superfest. For even more great prizes, join the Taste of Country's VIP program, the Country Club.
