BBR Music Group's showcase at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville Wednesday night (Feb. 22) featured plenty of past hits, as well as new singles that will become part of the soundtrack for the summer of 2017 and beyond.

The event hosted a number of Broken Bow Records artists — new and established — showing off the songs they'd like to be radio hits of 2017. Read on for the song rundown from Wednesday night and country radio singles to watch for this summer -- and throughout the year.

Restless Road, "Stay Awake With Me Tonight": The former X-Factor favorites opened the showcase with an uptempo love song they're hopeful of landing on country radio.

Walker McGuire, "Til Tomorrow": 15 million Spotify plays can't be wrong.

Jordan Rager, "Whatever": The former Voice contestant and budding country star chose to showcase "Whatever" from his 2016 EP Southern Boy.

Kristian Bush, "Sing Along": The Sugarland singer-guitarist came out for a solo acoustic performance of his new single. "Sing Along" was set for a January release, but "It was rushed to market about a month early (in December) because Bobby Bones played it on his show," Bush told Taste of Country.

Granger Smith, "If the Boots Fits": From his 2016 album Remington.

Brooke Eden, "Act Like You Don't": Eden was the first female performer of the event and received a glowing introduction from Spotify's John Marks. Her performance didn't disappoint.

Craig Campbell, "Outskirts of Heaven": Campbell came to the stage solo, with an acoustic guitar, most likely to emphasize the lyrics in his latest single. "I wanna play this song for you guys because I think you need to hear it," Campbell said from the stage. Message heard loud and clear.

Adam Craig, "Just a Phase": From Craig's eponymous 2016 EP.

Chase Bryant, "Change Your Name": From Bryant's 2014 eponymous EP.

Randy Houser, "Back to God": Houser decided to sing a song that he cut back in 2008 from his Anything Goes album. The relevance? Reba McEntire just recut that song in 2017 for her double-disc gospel record, Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope.

Joe Nichols, "Tall Boys": The man who brought us "Brokenheartsville," "Yeah," "Sunny and 75" and a slew of other hits is hoping his yet-to-be-released single "Tall Boys" hits the charts soon.

Linsday Ell, "Waiting on You": The electric guitar playing Ell performed her forthcoming single "Waiting on You," produced by Kristian Bush. Ell's boyfriend, high-profile radio personality Bobby Bones, was also in attendance.

Trace Adkins, "Watered Down": As expected, the legendary baritone performed his single that's planned to go to radio March 13. It's the third single released from Adkins' forthcoming album Something's Going On.

Parmalee, "Roots": The group's single from 2016 is still climbing and worthy of a listen.

Dustin Lynch, "Small Town Boy": After recently earning his fourth No. 1 single with "Seein' Red," Lynch hopes his 2017 single lands on the country radio charts as well. The hot young artist is poised for yet another huge year in country music.

Jason Aldean, "Any Ol' Barstool" and "A Little More Summertime." Aldean was the biggest country star at the BBR showcase, and only star to perform two songs at the event. Both selections came from his 2016 album They Don't Know.

"Thank you Broken Bow for throwing the party tonight," Aldean said onstage. "Thank you guys at country radio from not only myself, but for making this label become what it has, which is one of the most respected labels in town, which is kind of cool to be a part of. So thank you guys for making that happen."
