Blake Shelton was a multiple award winner during the 2011 American Country Awards, live from Las Vegas. Shelton's video for 'Who Are You When I'm Not Looking' locked in the win for both Music Video of the Year and Music Video of the Year by a Male Artist.

"I want to say thanks to Trey Fanjoy who made that video," Shelton said from the stage as he held his first guitar trophy from the ACAs. "Honestly, I'm not going to spend a bunch of time up here thanking a list of people because I know why I got this award tonight, and it's because of all you people," he said as he pointed to the fans filling the room. "I can't say thank you enough to country music fans. Thank y'all for voting for this."

Shelton, who appeared to be more serious than usual, did work one more thank you into his speech, which helped fans understand his solemn tone.

"I want to say hi to my dad back home ... he's been having a pretty rough couple of weeks, and I know he's watching tonight," Shelton said as he locked his eyes into the camera and held his guitar tight in his hands. "I love you, Dad, and I dedicate this to you, man. Thank you."
