Blake Shelton turned 38 on Wednesday (June 18), and there was plenty of celebrating going on. And, as is the case whenever Adam Levine is involved, there was also plenty of humor.

Country fans may remember Shelton's signature mullet, which he sported for quite a while back in the day. Well, 'The Voice' team brought it back, covering the singer's trailer with old pictures of his long locks, captioning them with hilarious phrases like 'my apologies,' 'forgive me' and 'I'm sorry.'

The 'Boys 'Round Here' singer even got a little smooch from his bro-mance partner Levine, nearly rounding out the perfect day.

Not to be outdone, Shelton's wife Miranda Lambert shared an absolutely adorable picture of the star as a child, writing, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my best friend in the whole world! @blakeshelton I love you! (And your dimples!)."

Even with all of the hoopla surrounding his birthday, it didn't take Shelton long to pick out his favorite moment of turning 38. He tweeted: " Few things in my life have made my heart swell up like the birthday text I got from Earl Thomas Conley this morning.. #hero."
