The verdict is in for People Country's hottest guy, and the top cowboy stud of the year just so happens to be now widely-loved 'The Voice' celebrity coach and country star Blake Shelton. The Oklahoma native is (not surprisingly) quite "aww shucks" about the whole thing, telling the magazine, "I think it's funny because there is nothing about me, if I was a girl, that I would think is sexy" (quotes via the Boot). But country ladies everywhere seem to disagree.

Among those who hold Shelton high on the hotness scale is his wife, country queen Miranda Lambert. "The minute he opens his mouth and starts talking to you, he makes you smile. That's what made me think, 'Oh my gosh, this guy is awesome,'" she says in the same article. The 'Hell on Heels' singer also adds that her hubby is "striking and tall," standing at 6 ft., 5 in.

Joining Shelton in the hall of hotness are Tim McGraw, David Nail, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, Chris Young, Kenny Chesney, Josh Turner, Scotty McCreery, Luke Bryan and last year's hottest country male, Keith Urban.

When Nail heard the news of his new hotness status, he almost brushed it off comically before admitting that it was quite a nice honor. "I could say what everybody always says: you don't see me in the morning," he said lightheartedly, "but I know that this is a huge complement – and it's nice to know people think you're desirable. I think in my case, the music has a lot to do with it."

The new issue of People Country featuring country's most mesmerizing men will hit newsstands Friday (March 30).
