Blake Shelton isn't the kind of guy who goes to the mall to buy his wife a few sweaters for Christmas. Instead, the popular country crooner tuned in to his creative energies to design a piece of jewelry that will appeal to Miranda Lambert's animal-loving side.

Since Lambert is known for rescuing stray pooches, Shelton translated the names of all 20 of her pups onto a gold necklace. Yes, you read that correctly. Twenty dogs.

According to Entertainment Wise, the necklace includes 20 charms that have been engraved with the dogs' names. The thoughtful gift weighs in at a whopping $20,000, but Shelton didn't seem to mind the hefty price tag.

A source told InTouch Weekly that the 'Honey Bee' hitmaker chuckled at the sight of the heavy gold trinket.

"It's the most thoughtful gift," the source said. "He designed it for her and laughed he hoped it wasn't too heavy because she has so many pets."

There's no word yet on whether Lambert has already opened this thoughtful present from her hubby. But if she hasn't opened it yet, she's probably already learned all about it in the news!

The couple will split their Christmas season between both of their families, spending some time in Shelton's native state of Oklahoma and some time in Lambert's hometown of Lindale, Texas.

But Shelton mentioned on 'The Voice' this week that no matter how hectic their respective schedules get, he and Lambert will always try to spend one night with just the two of them. That's about as romantic as the necklace!
