Top 10 News Stories of 2011: Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert Tie the Knot

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert will celebrate their one-year anniversary in 2012, but it was their nuptials in 2011 that earned them the top spot on our Top 10 News Stories of 2011 list. The country music pair said "I do" in May down in Texas, and they haven't looked back since.

The more we learned about how the pair tied the knot at the country wedding of the year, the more we were sucked in by their story. From Shelton's wedding song for his new wife to the fact that the 'Baggage Claim' songstress walked the aisle in her mother's dress, the Shelton-Lambert wedding was ideal. The pair even honeymooned at Reba's!

Once they were man and wife, Lambert told Taste of Country that she couldn't imagine anything better. "It just feels secure. People say when you get married something changes, and it does,” she said. "You feel comfortable and like somebody has your back, you know? It’s a really good feeling."
