You now have a chance to decide the best new songs in country music every day! Starting July 2, the Taste of Country Showdown will run online and on the air daily. With the launch of Taste of Country Nights on 34 radio stations across America, you'll get to hear even more of the hottest hits from the hottest artists in country music. Today's challengers are Blake Shelton and his new song 'Over' against Zac Brown Band and their latest, 'The Wind.'

Since releasing his new 'Red River Blue' album, Shelton has become the highest profile artist in country music, and he does it all with a signature small-town, sarcastic charm. 'Over' is a deep, painful ballad about losing a lover. It's a testament to the newlywed's talent that he can sing the song so convincingly. The song is on track to become his seventh straight No. 1 hit.

'The Wind' is the first single from Zac Brown Band's forthcoming 'Uncaged' album. The group debuted the lightspeed country rocker at the CMT Music Awards last month, and it's shot up the charts quickly since. It's clear that with their third major label release, this group isn't slowing down.

Listen to clips of both songs here, or catch the full versions tonight after 10PM CT on Taste of Country Nights. You can listen to the show online through any of the 34 stations that carry it here. Voting will end tonight at 10:40PM CT. And remember, you can cast your vote a second time by calling in to (888) 678-9995.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. If a song wins five days in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
