Carrie Underwood's 2017 Sunday Night Football intro is hot — literally! The new season opening, which debuted during the Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants game on Sunday (Sept. 10), finds the superstar walking the streets in a dress so sexy it actually catches fire at one point.

Though the video features football players from various teams, Underwood is no doubt the centerpiece of the clip as she makes her way down city streets, between buildings, past a crowd and to the stage. The former American Idol winner became the face of Sunday Night Football in 2013, taking over for reigning queen of the sport's intro, Faith Hill, four years ago.

If the intro song sounds familiar, it's because you've heard it before — "Oh, Sunday Night" is a remake of Miranda Lambert's 2014 single "Somethin’ Bad," which featured Underwood. This version first made an appearance at the start of the 2016 NFL season.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for the return of football season if not just to see her — Underwood has been otherwise under the radar this summer, hanging out with her family after cheering husband Mike Fisher and his (former) Nashville Predators hockey team on to an almost-victory in the Stanley Cup. She'll be back in the spotlight in November, hosting the 2017 CMA Awards with Brad Paisley. It's not clear if she's currently recording a new album, but she announced her departure from Sony Music Nashville earlier this year. She's now signed to UMG.
