Few things are more beautiful than a bride being walked down the aisle by her proud papa, and Carrie Underwood decided to honor her own this Father's Day (June 17) by flashing back to that very special moment nearly eight years ago.

Underwood shared a photo of herself and her father Steve taking that march to meet her husband-to-be, Mike Fisher, and she added a lovely note expressing how much her dad means to her.

"Happy Father’s Day to this handsome fella," she wrote. "'You think I’m strong. You think I’m fearless...even when I’m at my weakest. You always see the best in me when I can’t. I wanna be the girl you think I am.'

"Thanks to all the men out there who lift their little girls up and think they can do no wrong. Thanks to the ones who protect and provide. Thanks to the ones to work hard. You are the first loves of your little girls’ lives! Thanks, Dads!"

Underwood also has another great dad in her life: Her husband Fisher, who often pops up in Underwood's posts detailing funny moments of her home life with him and their young son Isaiah. She recently posted a clip of Fisher comically singing along to her current single, "Cry Pretty," took a good-natured dig at his dad jokes in another post, and showed a sweet moment where Fisher was teaching Isaiah to shoot with a bow and arrow.
