Carrie Underwood's 34th birthday maybe go down as the best of her entire life. In addition to family time and some truly unique gifts, the country superstar received a once-in-a-lifetime birthday serenade from Loretta Lynn.

“Ummm… @LorettaLynn just called and sang me happy birthday!” Carrie posted on Twitter on Friday (March 10). “How is this my life? #bestpresentever #happybirthdaytome #legend.”

Underwood's big day also included a sweet message from her husband, Nashville Predator Mike Fisher, who turned to his own Twitter to post, "Happy birthday @carrieunderwood!! Izzy and I are so blessed to have you in our lives! You’re the best!"

Celebrities including Ellen DeGeneres and Easton Corbin joined fans in wishing Underwood a happy birthday, and her best friend, Ivey Childers, baked her a very special cake that centered around her TV obsession, The Walking Dead.

The singer, who recently dueted with Keith Urban on his new single "The Fighter," also received a full-size replica of the bat that figures prominently into the show.

She ended the day by posting an adorable picture of her dog Penny, who was snuggled in under the covers after an exhausting day of celebrating.

Childers, a close friend of Underwood's, owns a bake shop called IveyCake in Franklin, Tenn., which features fresh-baked cakes and cupcakes each day. She is married to the singer's band leader, Mark Childers. Childers frequently contributes custom cakes to Underwood's special occasions, including a Cookie Monster-themed cake she made when Underwood's son, Isaiah, recently celebrated a birthday himself. He turned two on Feb. 27.
