Carrie Underwood has thought about her next album, but there are still more questions than answers. The 'Blown Away' singer says she'll begin work on the project after her live 'The Sound of Music' broadcast.

That means not until after Dec. 5, when NBC airs the theatrical production. Underwood tells Billboard that the show will be her life this fall. “I’ll be living in New York for a couple months," she reveals. "It’s all live, so it is going to take a lot of rehearsals."

After that, she says she'll buckle down and begin fine-tuning ideas and concepts for her fifth studio album. The music will inspire a tour, but don't expect an even more high-tech show than the one she toured earlier this year. "If we added anything else, it would be too much," the star shares.

"I haven’t thought about it much because I don’t know what the next album is going to sound like, but I like just standing there and singing, too," adds Underwood.

Underwood's 'Blown Away Tour: Live' DVD will be in stores on Aug. 13. You can win a signed copy in addition to a complete home theater setup -- including 60" 3D television -- by clicking the button below.
