Carrie Underwood and Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler took the stage together in Indianapolis, Ind. on Saturday to deliver a few of their collective hits for anxious Super Bowl fans. The special CMT 'Crossroads' road show aired live on the network, so even those far away from the football action were able to take part in the momentous music event.

Of course, the pair delivered a few of Underwood's own staples, dueting on 'Before He Cheats,' which was interesting to hear from a man's prospective. To even out the playing field, they also gave fans a soulful delivery of Aerosmith's 'Cryin',' with the blonde country starlet taking the lead on several parts.

It's been just under a year since Tyler and Underwood first took the stage together at the 2011 ACMs, and they didn't disappoint. To feed the palate of both country and rock fans, the iconic pair made mash-ups of a few of their songs, blending Underwood's 'Just a Dream' with Aerosmith's 'Dream On' before leading into a mix of 'Undo It' and 'Walk This Way.'

MJsBigBlog reports that there were difficulties with the equipment mid-show, namely the bass player's instrument, but Underwood kept Super Bowl fans entertained with a little dance across the stage and a line from pop rapper Nicki Minaj's 'Super Bass.'

Super Bowl 2012 kicks off at 6:30PM ET on Sunday from Indianapolis.
