Carrie Underwood knows how to release a song that will literally dominate the country charts, and she has done it again this week. Her latest chart-topper, 'Blown Away,' locks in the top slot on both the Billboard and Mediabase / Country Aircheck charts for the second consecutive week.

The tune is the second single from Underwood’s million-selling album of the same name, and follows hot on the heels of the album's first single, 'Good Girl,' which also hit No. 1 earlier this year. Between the two singles, the former 'Idol' has spent a total of three weeks at the No. 1 position in 2012, making her the only female country artist to do so this year.

Next up for Underwood is her co-hosting duties along side Brad Paisley for the 2012 CMA Awards, which will air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arenea on Thursday, November 1. In addition to her hosting commitment, she is also nominated in the Female Vocalist of the Year category that night.

After the CMAs, Underwood will head to the American Music Awards, where she is a double nominee for Favorite Female Artist in the country category, as well as Favorite Album ('Blown Away'), also in the country category. The AMAs will air on November 18 on ABC.
