'Survivor: Nicaragua' finalist Chase Rice has released the official version of 'Buzz Back,' a song he recently played on the popular show's reunion special. The musical guide to overcoming a hangover, via the tried and true "hair of the dog" method, is slated to be released as a single on iTunes any day now.

He performed solo that evening, but he's got a crackling band behind him this time around. The fuller sound and ganged background vocals add to the festive spirit of the track:

"I got my buzz back now I'm feeling alright / Ain't nothing gonna hold me down tonight / Cause I'm the pilot of this party flight / And I'm calling my buddies / It's going down / Bringing last night's good time back around / With a couple of beers and my good friend Jack / I got my buzz back."

In an exclusive interview with Taste of Country, which will run next week, Rice credits his friend and songwriting partner Brian Kelley (of the Florida Georgia Line) with the idea for the song: "He was sitting in a pool down in Athens.  Some kid comes up, and he's talking about his head, then he popped open a beer.  A couple minutes later, he said, 'Well, I guess I got my buzz back.'"

Rice, who already released a full-length album named 'Friday Night and Sunday Mornings' in 2009, is finishing up work on an EP, possibly entitled 'Country as Me,' to go along with 'Buzz Back.'  But you don't have to wait for any of that -- you can listen to the song right now.
