Danielle Bradbery has been really busy since taking home first prize on 'The Voice' in June. So busy, in fact, that she hasn't gotten around to learning how to write songs just yet.

After winning, Bradbery was signed to Big Machine Label Group. The young country singer has already voiced her excitement over working with the label that has the power of big stars like Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw behind it. She's released her first single in 'Heart of Dixie,' but next up, she might like to write some songs -- something she's still struggling with.

“I have trouble writing a song," Bradbery admits (quote via Big Machine). "I like writing essays. Not many people are big fans of that, but I like writing and English. That's probably my best subject."

It's possible that once Bradbery gets more comfortable, her writing skills will translate into songwriting. In the meantime, the young singer is busy promoting her first single and hanging out with labelmate Taylor Swift.

We're excited to see what's next for Bradbery -- hopefully a few songwriting credits!
