Rumors started when: Zac Efron and Taylor Swift were paired up as voice actors in 'The Lorax' in 2012. In January, they ate dinner together and were "deep in conversation and very giggly." They had known each other for some time, so one couldn't help but wonder if sparks began to fly under the cover of Dr. Seuss.

The scoop: “He’s awesome, we are not a couple though,” Swift said on 'Ellen.' They were apparently on separate coasts when recording their 'The Lorax' lines and only in L.A. together to do publicity. Of course she could be fibbing, but it's not her style.
