Just seconds after One Direction's Harry Styles quit talking at the 2013 MTV VMAs on Sunday night (Aug. 25), Taylor Swift was caught uttering what appeared to be an expletive from her seat in the audience.

"Shut the f--- up," is what many think the country superstar was saying as she pulled away from best friend Selena Gomez.

One Direction were presenting the Moonman for the Best Pop Video (an award that went to Gomez, ironically). Of course, Styles and Swift dated late in 2012, breaking up in January. In March, the singer all but admitted she wrote 'I Knew You Were Trouble' about Styles, somewhat predicting the unhappy end to their romance.

Swift won the Best Female Video VMA for 'I Knew You Were Trouble' at Sunday's VMAs, and during her acceptance speech, she seemingly took another swipe at the 19-year-old boybander. “I also want to thank the person who inspired this song," she said, "who knows exactly who he is, because now I got one of these. Thank you so much!”

Styles admits it's likely another song about him will appear on Swift's next album, which she has started to write.
