Garth Brooks has added even more shows to his upcoming run in Atlanta, setting a new record in the process.

After adding more shows last week to meet the high ticket demand for his run at the Philips Arena, Brooks put two additional dates on sale Saturday morning (Aug. 16), bringing the total up to five. But even that could not keep pace with ticket demand, so Brooks added two more shows on top of that, on sale immediately.

The news makes Brooks the first artist ever to sell seven consecutive shows at the venue. He also topped his own previous record for Atlanta ticket sales, which he set with a series of shows from March 13 -17, 1996, by selling 81,902 paid tickets. He has now surpassed that number, with tickets still on sale.

The dates for Atlanta are Sept. 19 at 6:30PM and 10:30PM, Sept. 20 at 6:30PM and 10:30PM, Sept. 21 at 7:30PM, Sept. 26 at 7:30PM and Sept. 27 at 7:30PM.

In keeping with Brooks' promise to offer affordable prices for his comeback tour, tickets will cost $56.94 plus $4.56 tax, a $4.00 facility fee and a $6.00 service charge, totaling $71.50. There is a six ticket limit. Tickets for all shows are available now at Ticketmaster, by calling 1-800-745-3000 or Ticketmaster Express at 1-866-448-7849. There will be no sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets.

Keep up with Brooks' tour dates here.
