Although Garth Brooks hung up his performing hat after a three-year Wynn Las Vegas hotel run last fall, he's going to grace the Wynn Las Vegas Encore Theater stage once again, coming out of semi-retirement for a special DVD/Blu-ray release.

The superstar recently announced his plans to return to the venue on Memorial Day and Independence Day weekends for a handful of shows to be taped for the video release. Fans of the singer can experience his unmistakable country music talent in the beautiful venue.

"Any day that Garth is in the Wynn is a good day for the hotel and a great night for the audience,” owner Steve Wynn said according to CMIL. After knowing Brooks for years, Wynn can only rave about the Country Music Hall of Fame member, who he describes as "a brother."

Perhaps this is an indication of more music to come from the singer, as he's talked before about resurrecting his music career, and fans are eagerly awaiting any news regarding his future plans. The 'More Than a Memory' hitmaker will perform two shows each night on May 24-25 and one show each night on July 5-6. Tickets are on sale now, and start at $125 apiece. Although it's pricey, country music fans will certainly be rallying for tickets, as it's a rare and exciting opportunity to see Brooks in his element -- onstage.
