Florida Georgia Line is getting some major props from country music's biggest icon. Garth Brooks says he's a huge fan of the dynamic duo.

Brooks recently sat down with Broadway’s Electric Barnyard radio show and sang praises for Florida Georgia Line, both as performers and as human beings. The country legend says that the 'Sun Daze' singers have made quite an impression on him and his whole family.

"They’re sweet, sweet kids," Brooks says. "My niece on Ms. [Trisha] Yearwood's side of the family actually got to hang with them one night at an awards show, and they treated her like a queen, so I just love them for that right there."

And FGL isn't the first country act to encourage accolades from Brooks. Back in October, Jason Aldean got a pleasant surprise when the 'Man Against Machine' singer complimented him as a trailblazer in country music.

Brooks just finished up the 2014 leg of his World Tour and is taking a much-deserved break before hitting the road again on Jan. 9 for three more months of shows. As for Florida Georgia Line, they're gearing up to perform live from Times Square in New York City during 'Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest.'
