Wichita, Kansas country fans, get ready. Garth Brooks is coming your way for the first time in 18 years. The icon is making a stop in the city by way of his Garth Brooks World Tour with wife Trisha Yearwood, Dec. 4-5, 2015 at the Intrust Bank Arena.

Tickets for the events will go on sale Oct. 23 and can only be purchased here.

Brooks has been making the rounds on his World Tour, hosting impressive events and putting on one of the most successful shows of the past year, according to Forbes. The World Tour is Brooks’ first tour in 13 years, and many of the cities, like Wichita, have been holding back-to-back dates. The artist earned the top spot in touring revenue among country artists, falling in at second overall behind only the Rolling Stones.

Brooks and Yearwood also recently earned coveted stars on the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville.

“It’s pretty sweet in the fact that its right there, it’s right next to Miss Yearwood,” Brooks tells CountryMusicIsLove. “So, to kind of put it in cement and then to know that right to the left of us is Loretta Lynn, the queen of country music. That’s a pretty good neighborhood to be in. I’m the luckiest guy on the planet, in between Trisha and Loretta.”

News recently broke that Brooks accidentally lost the music he was working on for his next album due to some technical difficulties.

“Here’s where the old guy gets into technology, which is bad,” Brooks explained. “All the new stuff which I’ve been working on for six months is on a phone that I fried, and I can’t get the phone to come back up.”

Brooks is determined to retrieve it, though, and says they are still working on accessing it.
