Billboard Magazine has announced its picks for the Top 10 Country Duos/Groups of 2010 in a special year-end issue. The list is comprised of the 10 most influential and effective duos and groups in country music for the year. While big acts like Brooks and Dunn, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland and the Zac Brown Band made the list, the most interesting name on the list has to be rising quartet Gloriana.

This past year, Gloriana have had many achievements in the world of country music. Their country-pop single 'Wild at Heart' was certified gold by the R.I.A.A. and they were nominated for several CMT awards, one of which they won. They were also named Top New Vocal Group at the Academy of Country Music Awards and Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards.

Gloriana are brothers Tom and Mike Gossin, plus Rachel Reinert and Cheyenne Kimball, who all range in age from 18 to 27 years old. The group, which was only formed two years ago in Nashville, started gaining recognition as the opening act for Taylor Swift on her 'Fearless' tour. Gloriana were also featured on the 2010 Winter Olympics soundtrack, and they performed in the 84th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. They even performed for troops overseas in both Europe and the Middle East.

Gloriana are currently in the studio working on a follow-up album to their self-titled debut. Emblem Music Group owner Matt Serletic is producing the album. Serletic is a Grammy-winning producer who has worked with artists such as Aerosmith and Willie Nelson. The first single off of Gloriana's second album is anticipated for release in early 2011.
