Jason Aldean Wins Album of the Year at 2011 American Country Awards

Jason Aldean looked every bit the genuine country star clad in his trademark black cowboy hat, black leather jacket over black shirt, jeans and boots when he strolled to the podium to accept the award for Album of the Year for ‘My Kinda Party’ at the 2011 American Country Awards.

After shaking hands with the stars of the reality show the ‘Pawn Stars,’ Aldean thanked his management, record label,and most of all his fans.

“Thank you very much. It’s been a hell of a year,” he said. “[I want to thank] everybody that had a part in the last year. It’s been amazing. I’m proudest that over a million of you guys came out to our shows this year. You guys are the reason this year has been amazing. see you all on the road next year!”

The other nominees for the award were Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and the Zac Brown Band.
